Writing Requirements

General Requirements:
Every PERSON (as in writer) should have at least one post a week with any of your characters. Of course an exception would be made if RL interfered, but notification of that would be required. In the chance that something comes up and there's no way they could inform us, then an explanation email should be sent upon your return. This way the BoD and other members can keep track of who's where and so forth.

Writing Requirements:
High Ranking Ones: (Goldriders, Wingleaders, Craftmasters and Mastercraftsmen, Headwoman, Weryling & Candidate Masters, and Lord Holders.)
One thread a month. A thread might contain 8 posts or up to over a hundred. But each ranking persona should be involved in at least one thread a month. This doesn't mean a new thread every month. A goldrider could be involved in the same thread for 4 months and that would cover his writers requirement for those 4 months.

Other Ranking Ones:
(Non-ranking Bronzeriders, Wingseconds, WLM assistants, Holders, Journeymen and Woman.)
Five posts a month. That's a really short thread and not that difficult. This would keep more people active.

Other Personas:
(Brownriders, Blueriders, Greenriders, Aprentices, hold folk, etc.)
No requirement should be put on these personas if the writer has personas of a higer rank. But say a member only has 2 greenriders and a weyrling then that person would just have the requirement of one post a week. ((See 1st paragraph))

Weyrlings:
Weyrlings are a different story. All weyrlings would have the requirement of 5 posts a month, reguardless of color or class. A gold weyrling would have the same requirement as a blue weyrling. This would be upheld nicely in class posts and so forth.

Weyrling storylines:
Class storylines are a good idea, but they should not be the only storylines weyrlings should be involved in. Class storylines on certain topics will be RPed for each class. Topics such as dragonhealing, firestone breaking, sorting, and bagging, some ground and wing drills, topics like that. But weyrlings will interact with other members of the weyr and these interactions should be RPed as well.

Flit Requirements:
Those with Gold or Bronze Flits will have a requirement of at least one thread a month that include their flits. Golds and bronzes should be RPed regularly. This inclusion must be more then just mentioning the flit. The flit must be involved somehow. Those with Brown, Blue, or Green flits will have the requirement of at least on post a month that include your flit(s).

Sex Storylines:
Yes these storylines are going to happen, but also think of where they are happening: mating flights and Turn's End Party. These things are bound to happen as it is in a Weyr's nature. The sex drive in a weyr is very high. The story lines in which Lakeside sex occurs, there are other things behind it. Whether it be a pregnancy or sleeping with someone to climb the social ladder or sleeping with their enemies weyrmate . There are no meaningless sex posts. No sex posts jsut because you feel like writing one. As long as you keep the sex posts resonable. If the post is going to be hot and heavy please put a Rated-R warning notice at the top of the post to warn those who are not interested in reading it. That's all I'm asking for, otherwise I will down the rating to PG-13. That's all I've got on that subject. If your not sure what Rated-R content is, please click here.

WARNING: This group does contain some graphic posting. They are however labeled with a Rated-R warning. We request that you be at least 16 to join, though exceptions can be made. For more info on this please look at the Writing Requirements.
